Healthy Recipes with Ingredients

To create recipes from a list of ingredients from your pantry all you need to do is:

  1. Create a list of ingredients that you can export of your pantry. I used an easy app that does this.
  2. Tell ChatGPT to act as your personal Chef. Give it a prompt:
    • “I want you to act as my personal chef and suggest delicious recipes that include foods that are nutritionally beneficial but also easy and not time consuming. Suggestions should be suitable for busy people but also healthy. Please suggest easy recipes I can make from my list of ingredients.” Here is my list –
  3. Now paste the list and get your recipes! Here is what it told me:

  1. Black Bean Salad:
    • Ingredients: Black beans, diced tomatoes, diced green chiles, corn kernels, diced onion, lime juice, cilantro, salt, pepper.

    • Instructions: Heat sesame oil in a pan, add minced garlic and ginger, then stir in sliced vegetables. Cook until tender-crisp. Add soy sauce and toss. Serve over cooked brown rice.
  4. Tuna Salad Lettuce Wraps:
    • Ingredients: Chunk light tuna, diced celery, diced onion, diced tomatoes, diced pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce leaves.
    • Instructions: Mix tuna, celery, onion, tomatoes, and pickles with mayonnaise and mustard. Spoon onto lettuce leaves and wrap.
  5. Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies:
    • Ingredients: Instant oatmeal (apples & cinnamon), mashed banana, peanut butter, honey, dark chocolate chips (optional).
    • Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
